Let me share a bit about my situation, in case anyone is facing something similar. I felt completely overwhelmed when I received a refusal from Immigration. Unfortunately, many people have experienced unprofessional or careless migration agent, especially in Sydney. I had already received two refusals from my previous agent (subclass 101 and 802). That agent never properly explained my circumstances to Immigration.
After graduating in July 2018, I completed four months of mandatory military service. Immigration considered this a reasonable explanation for my “study gap” (which must not exceed six months). However, my previous agent failed to explain or prepare the documents, despite me providing full details about my military service in Taiwan and my study history in Sydney. This resulted in yet another refusal. Thankfully, I found STC Lawyers online, and they helped turn my situation around.
From the start, Tom clearly explained what we needed to do for the AAT review. After going through my documents, he patiently outlined how he planned to address every issue. I have never met someone who treated my case with more seriousness and dedication than I did myself. They applied for a fast track process, and I didn’t even need to attend an AAT interview.
